hd CXN Series

The hd 6CXN is a passive 2-way system equipped with a 6″ neodymium low/mid woofer and a 1″ neodymium high-frequency driver. Operation is possible via any power amplifier – even without DSP – and makes the hd 6CXN the optimal solution for high-quality mobile or permanently installed public address applications in, for example, industrial events, theaters or sports facilities. The conical horn provides a natural sound without the horn-typical sound coloration, a long range and optimal speech intelligibility. The frequency- and phase-optimized crossover guarantees a linear transmission behavior. An integrated 35 mm flange allows use on a tripod or with two monitor angles with 35° and 45° as a stage monitor.

The housing is made of multiplex wood and provided with a shock and weather-resistant polyurethane coating, and a ballproof, elegant and rounded steel grille in black. For permanent installation, two M6 and M8 inlet threads are available for the cost-effective installation of standardized wall mounts or brackets. The NL4 Speakon jacks, which are mounted on the back of the connection panel, are used to connect and forward the input signal. The speaker cabinet is available in the RAL colors and outdoor options.

The hd 10CXN is a passive 2-way system equipped with a coaxial 10“/1.4“ driver arrangement in bass reflex tuning and a double neodymium magnet system 3“/2.5“ voice coil. A precisely developed and sophisticated crossover ensures deep coupling at 1100 Hz and makes the 10CXN sound clear and distinct. The compression driver with 2.5“ voice coil is located in the woofer‘s magnet system and is connected directly to the cone membrane via a BEM-optimized waveguide. This means that there is no shadowing or reflections on the bass membrane from an external horn. The hd 10CXN achieves a conical radiation of 75° without a separate horn. The SuperVented housing design in combination with an extremely durable 3“ voice coil paired with the latest technology neodymium magnet geometry assembly makes the 10CXN a high-performance full-range speaker.

An absolutely flat frequency response with linear phase behavior enables even more natural playback behavior and enormous feedback security at all levels.

The integrated 35mm tripod adapter enables use on a tripod as a front system and is complemented by two practical monitor angles of 35° and 45° for discreet and loud monitor applications. Three Speakon ports – two on the back, one on the bottom – ensure unobtrusive and kink-free cabling. There is an ergonomic carrying handle on the back. The hd 12CXN is a high-performance monitor with a coaxial 12 “/ 1.4″ driver arrangement and well thought-out features. With over 30 years of practical experience and development of coaxial chassis, the hd 12CXN has created a new standard for professional applications. The newly developed 12″/1.4″ coaxial loudspeaker with double neodymium magnet system with 3″ voice coils for LF and HF each achieves excellent impulse behavior thanks to the decoupling of both magnet systems. Due to the low separation at 900 Hz, the hd 12CXN sounds clear and transparent. The compression driver with polymer diaphragm sits in the woofer magnet system and is directly connected to the cone diaphragm via a BEM-optimized waveguide. This means that there is no shadowing or reflections on the bass membrane from an external horn. The hd 12CXN achieves a conical radiation of 80 ° without a separate horn. The large bass reflex port ensures a remarkable bass reproduction. An important goal of the development process was that the acoustic performance of our new 12″ coaxial driver is comparable to the usual 15” stage rider models, but with drastically reduced dimensions and only 18 kg in weight. With a total height of less than 30cm, the low-profile housing can be integrated very inconspicuously into any stage.

Variably adjustable monitor angles, a recessed tripod sleeve in the handle, flight and mounting points, as well as a switchable connection panel make the hd 12CXN a real all-rounder. In no time at all, the monitor angle of 32° with the integrated, fold-out risers can be adjusted in two steps to 38° or 45° to suit the stage situation. The back of the enclosure is beveled 17°, so that the artist is the focus of the drum fill application. A flying bracket enables cluster formation and use for fixed installations with low ceilings.
